How Argos works
Argos runs quietly in the background as a small local web server on your Mac — no menu bar clutter, no constant notifications. It watches the same signals macOS itself watches: memory pressure, swap, CPU, disk I/O, and network, and blends them into one health score you can glance at.
When something crosses into Sick or Critical, Argos tells you which app is responsible — and at Critical, it acts immediately, quitting every process that app owns. Never the app you're working in, never anything on your protected list. It shows you the receipt: what it freed and how long it took.
Two beta extras: Purge RAM clears macOS's reclaimable file cache on demand — a real but temporary effect. Feedback sends a note straight to the people building it.
